Actress Katie Holmes excited about her directorial debut ‘All We Had’

London, Nov 11: Actress Katie Holmes who is all set to don the director’s hat for the first time with ‘All We Had’ is very happy about her directorial debut.

The actress, who got divorced from husband Tom Cruise said she is nervous about taking on the challenge but can’t wait to get started and make her mark on the movie, reported a website.

During her appearance on a TV show the 35 years old actress said, “I’m excited, I’m going to direct my first movie. I found this book and optioned it and I have a writer writing it for me. I’m excited! It should be a huge challenge, but worth it.”

The story of ‘All We Had’ is based on Annie Weatherwax’s novel. It is a tale of a mother and her 13 years old daughter who face several hardships in life together. ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ Josh Boone is coming on board to write the script, while Jane Rosenthal has been announced as the producer for the movie.

The brunette beauty, who was last seen in ‘Miss Meadows’ has an eight-year-old daughter Suri with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. The actress recently confessed to hiring help to care for her daughter after struggling to juggle motherhood and work commitments in the past.

“You do the best you can. Some days you feel really good about yourself and some days you don’t. You really need to support each other, help people through whatever it is they’re going through…,” she had said to a tabloid.
