`Babubali` beats records of Rajinikanth`s `Endiraan`, becomes fastest movie to enter `200 cr` club

New Delhi, July 16: With a total box office collection of Rs 213 crores, `Baahubali: the Beginning` has been recently crowned as the fastest movie to enter the “200 crore club.”

Beating the records of Rajinikanth’s ‘Endiraan’ and Shankar-Vikram’s ‘I’, the Rana Daggubati starrer has grossed approximately Rs. 23 crore at the worldwide box office, taking its five-day global collection to Rs. 213 crore.

Made in two parts, the SS Rajamouli’s directorial is the costliest Telugu movie with a whopping budget of Rs 250 crore that narrates the tale of an epic historical fiction.

The epic film has also secured it’s place in international box office’s top 10 movies within a week of its release with an opening of 20 million dollars.

Prabhas starrer movie released in about 4,200 theaters worldwide and crossed the coveted 100 crore mark in just two days, in India, taking in 21.3 million dollars during the weekend.

The movie is an action flick but its lead actors Prabhas and Tamannah Bhatia would also be seen romancing each other.
However, this time the romance would be quite twisted as Prabhas and Tamannah have said that the romance would be “larger than life and epic”.
