New Delhi, Nov 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which on Friday launched a revamped website, has invited people’s suggestions to prepare its manifesto for the Delhi Assembly elections.

The website is expected to receive people’s suggestions on ways to make the capital better.

Earlier, the Union Cabinet had given its approval for the dissolution of Delhi Assembly after holding a meeting to discuss Lieutenant-Governor (LG) Najeeb Jung’s recommendation.

The L-G had sent a status report to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) over government formation in the capital after holding consultations with the leaders of the BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party at Raj Niwas to explore the possibility of government formation in Delhi.

In the meeting, all the parties had reportedly expressed their inability to form the government in Delhi.

JUng had also met all the three party leaders separately.

Delhi has been under President’s rule since February after the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government stepped down after 49 days in power.
