Johannesburg, Nov 21: Netherlands football great Johan Cruyff has expressed that he is fully confident of emerging as the winner in his fight against lung cancer.
The 68-year-old, who guided his nation to the World Cup final in 1974, said that he was considering chemotherapy as his friend because it is there to kill the cancer.
Former Ajax and Barcelona star Cruyff added that he was feeling stronger after receiving so many wishes and prayers since his diagnosis.
Cruyff, the three-time Ballon d’Or winner, had played for Barcelona from 1973 to 1978 and helped the Catalan giants win La Liga in his first season.
Earlier this month, Johan Cruyff has said that Italy striker Mario Balotelli should not be blamed for his poor disciplinary records on the field.
He had also opined that that the controversial star should have been taught the basic lessons on how to behave, and what is expected from a professional footballer.
