Los Angeles, Dec 29: The Queen of Pop Madonna has denied that the recently leaked song ‘Two Steps Behind’ is about Lady Gaga or anyone in particular.
Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary reportedly wrote in response to a fan’s question: “That song is not about Gaga or anyone in particular. She has no ill will towards Gaga.”
He further added: “She was listening to the Tony Bennett duet album last week and appreciating it. The song is an unfinished demo, she had no intention of finishing or releasing along with many others.”
Ace Showbiz report stated that more than two dozen songs from Madonna, 56, were prematurely released earlier this month.
The song features lyrics like, “You’re a copycat, get back/I’m always on your mind,” which prompted the Gaga dis speculation.
The Queen of Pop’s new album ‘Rebel Heart’ seems to be the new target of hackers as more songs have been leaked online from the album.
According to Billboard, further 14 tracks, that includes collaboration with Pharrell Williams has been all over the internet following the leak of 13 demos recently, the Guardian reported.
Earlier, Madonna had described her music theft as “a form of terrorism” and “artistic rape”.
It may be noted that Madonna has released six tracks from her latest album titled ‘ Rebel Heart’ after the songs were leaked online.
The 56-year-old musician said in a statement that she would prefer her fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating.
The American songstress also took to Instagram to thank everyone for not listening to her leaked music.
The seven-time Grammy Award winner continued in her statement that she was hoping to release her new single ‘Living for Love’ on Valentine’s Day, with the rest of the album coming in the spring.
