New Delhi, Dec 19: Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who has been hospitalised for lower respiratory tract infection, is feeling much better and will recover soon, said the chairman, Board of Management at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Dr. Ajay Swaroop, here on Saturday.
Dr Swaroop said: “She is feeling much better and her condition is improving. Her medication will continue and she will remain under observation. She has been admitted for lower respiratory tract infection and is recovering.”
Earlier on Thursday, the Congress president was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital with lower respiratory tract infection and some breathing difficulties.
Dr. Ajay Swaroop had on Friday stated “”She is under the care of Dr. Arup Kumar Basu, who is the senior consultant and chairman of the respiratory medicine, and he is supported by his team. According to their morning round, she is stable and showing signs of recovery.”
